Overview
Herbalife Nutrition is a global multi-level marketing (MLM) or person-to-person sales company that develops and sells meal replacements, protein shakes, dietary supplements, and skincare products. It was founded 40 years ago, and it is the #1 brand in the world for meal replacement shakes (selling 80 million jars per year), the #7 consumer health brand globally, and it operates in 94 countries around the world. For this case study, we focused on designing a responsive (mobile-first), unified (all-in-one) digital experience that serves Herbalife’s users with ease of use, e-commerce features, inspiring wellness, and brand credibility.

The Problem
Herbalife’s users need a centralized, one-stop platform to easily learn about products, shop, and connect with distributors to achieve their wellness goals.
At the moment, Herbalife’s digital experience is fragmented, resulting in a lack of consistency, formality, and credibility. Users have to visit at least three independent platforms (out of six) to complete their shopping experience, causing them to feel frustrated, distrust the brand, and abandon the entire experience.
The Solution
An MVP showcasing a unified retail experience that guides consumers to find products tailored to their wellness goals and promotes trust.
